[Important] Change for U.S. Customers: Import Tariff Exemption Ends August 29, 2025

Starting August 29, 2025the U.S. government will abolish the de minimis rule, which previously exempted orders under $800 from import tariffs. From this date, all shipments to the U.S. will be subject to tariffs, regardless of order value.

Our store’s response:

  • All U.S. orders will ship under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).Tariffs and related fees will be calculated at checkout and prepaid, so you will not be asked to pay duties upon delivery.
  • A FedEx clearance fee will also be included in the shipping cost.

Tariff rates:

  • Rates are determined by the country of origin of each product, not by Japan (the shipping country).
  • Example:
    • Made in China → around 30% or higher
    • Made in Japan → around 15%

However, please note that actual tariff rates are not fixed percentages and may vary depending on the HS code classification, product type, and other customs regulations. To ensure accuracy, our store uses Avalara’s globally trusted cross-border compliance system, which automatically calculates the duties at checkout. We always apply the duty amount calculated and displayed there.
